This is a very important piece for your IQ hive when it comes to extra protection to the front entrance and helps reinforce the front entrance for transportation. Solid metal piece that helps with the front folding doors. I Would like to see this as a standard piece in every IQ Kit.

The mouse guard must be permanently attached, it doesn't really function at all when not screwed into the hive. I was looking for something I could put in place and remove when not needed. I have to remove all hive bodies to get this installed. Not practical at this fall with high risk of robbing.
