I was skeptical at first but I liked the look and features of this hive tool so I went ahead and made the purchase. Once I got it in my hands I was impressed. It's a very well made tool and feels great in the hand. All of the edges have been rounded and the whole tool is polished smooth and has great balance. The prying edges are sharp, much more sharp than any other hive tool I've used and that has proven to be a great advantage at times especially when cleaning up old equipment, scraping old propolis and wax. I've been actively using this in my bee yard for the past few weeks and it's a great hive tool! It does everything I need it to do with ease. I really like the design of the frame lifting hook. It's thin and the tight angle makes it easier to get under the ends of frames and it provides plenty of lift to get them started out of a box. This is probably my most used feature of the tool.

All in all this is a great hive tool, probably the best one I've ever used. My only "complaint" is it is a bit pricey when compared to any other hive tool, but this is definitely a very refined and well thought out tool that will provide years of life.
