Hive Top Feeder — Now with an Improved Center Tower

We're bringing back the Hive Top Feeder with a redesigned center tower. This removable tub sits snugly within a medium-sized hive body, with a center tower that limits bees to feeding along the edge of the syrup.

Note: You'll need a medium hive body to use this feeder.

This design converts the original from a rapid-feed style to a closed-edge feeder. If you need to feed your bees a large volume of syrup in a single visit, this is a great fit. Otherwise, we recommend a standard Frame Feeder for syrup for smaller quantities. 

Tower Features:

• 9.5 mm of bee space for feeding along the syrup edge
• One-piece construction for strength and simplicity
• Integrated centering guides - no clips needed
• Increased tower height so the lid will ensure it always sits flush with the tub

Usage Guidance:

• Bees may draw comb around the feeder. We recommend installing your queen excluder directly below the feeder to prevent the queen from laying in burr comb.
• Some drownings are to be expected when feeding your colony this way.
